We are taught from a young age to control many things- potty trainig, how we speak, when we speak. As we grow in a relationship with God, we learn that those behaviors are the only control we have. Anything beyond that, is an illusion. We are responsible to make the greatest choice- to follow Jesus- everything else from that point on should be in His control, and we are best to leave the choices up to Him.

If we desire to see God move in a big way, we have to remember, to be prepared to be moved in a big way by God! We aren't called to sit on the sidelines, we are called to be in the midst of His game plan- and whether you like it or not, He does have a game plan for your life. Being active in Him is being obedient and demonstrates our trust in his Might Power!

Can you think of anything that feels better than to give, just to give. It is said that to receive, one must first give. We live in a changed society, and if people are going to be inspired when we "pay it forward"- why not pay it forward on a daily basis. This doesn't need to be an initiative we make priority one day a year! We should have a heart of giving, with no expectations. This is just part of being loved by God- it's a believer thing!
You wonder where to start..start with "Hello, God".. The ability to pray requires one thing, your ability to hold a conversation! Talk to Him about it. Just like you pick up a phone and start talking to whoever about everything, do the same with your Father. Remember..at some point in the conversation- take time to listen!

I've made comments in my past about the difficulty of forgiveness- and I've had some rather BIG things in my life to forgive. Still, why is it so difficult? The forgiveness of our own sins leads us on an incredible journey home. To live in that forgiveness is true freedom and absolute love. Is not every life you come across, worth sharing that love? Besides, when we live in an unforgiving state, we are the ones held captive. Whether your offender is sorry or not, forgive them, as you have been forgiven!
